This role is to operate various saws and jigs to create bespoke products for commercial and residential landscaping projects.
Use of a FLT will also be part of the role so previous experience of this is preferred.
Duties:
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood products
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required and the methods of assembly
- Use tooling such as CAD and SolidWorks to design and create wood products
- Work with plastics injection molding to create custom wood products
- Weld or join wood pieces together using appropriate techniques
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery
- Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks for designing wood products
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding techniques is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing woodworking machinery
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and assembling wood pieces
Job Types:

Pay:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
