Supporter Care and Database Officer


To be The Passage's dedicated supporter-facing representative, providing exceptional customer service to all donors and prospective supporters, and the fundraising lead for our Salesforce CRM.

Help achieve income growth and supporter retention targets by building strong and lasting relationships and by continuously improving systems and processes.


Duties:


  • Ensure the highest levels of customer care by establishing a donorcentric approach, ensuring that all supporters receive an excellent experience at every interaction and that they feel valued and motivated to support The Passage's work.
  • As the primary point of contact for supporters, ensure donations and fundraising enquiries received through all channels and platforms are processed, acknowledged and thanked quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all donations and related contact data on the Fundraising CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Work with the Fundraising team to perform data selections for key campaigns and activities.
  • Work with the Finance team towards seamless integration of the Finance system and Fundraising CRM system.
  • Supervise, support and train the Supporter Care Assistant and volunteers to ensure the efficient and smooth running of all aspects of supporter care.

Desired Experience:


  • Donorcentric supporter care role at a charity.
  • Working extensively with Fundraising CRM systems.
  • Standards and procedures for payment card processing, electronic payments (e.g. BACS, bank transfers), banking and handling cash securely.
  • Developing stewardship programmes.
  • Running reports and analysing data.
