Ingham Old Hall is a Registered Care Home in Ingham Norfolk, specialising in Dementia.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic & conscientious Head Housekeeper to join our well established team in the upkeep of the Care Home, so our Residents can enjoy a safe, clean comfortable environment.

Key duties in this role will include:

• Supervisions of the domestic team and overseeing their work

- vacuuming, mopping, polishing ,general up-keep of all communal areas and our residents bedroom
- ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
- ensure all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
- to be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of our residents
- to comply with COSHH regulations
- to adhere to infection control policies at all times
- to ensure correct use of PPE
- to ensure necessary documentation is completed daily
- to ensure trolleys are re-stocked at the end of each shift and cleaning cupboard is left clean and tidy.
- oversee ordering of laundry services and order housekeeping supplies
- maintain presentation of rooms to be let

The successful applicant must maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene. 24hrs per week (over 4 days, 6hrs per day) which includes every other weekend.

Experience in the role preferred however full training will be provided. A patient and sympathetic attitude is required but also being reliable and able to work alone.
