Transport & Planning Administrator


Bolton Brothers Ltd is a family waste and recycling company based in Gt Blakenham near Ipswich with over 50 years of Industry experience.

Specialists in recycling and waste services in both the commercial sector. We are now looking for a Senior Administrator to join the team.


As a Senior Administrator for Transport & Planning, you will help organise and manage a diverse range of responsibilities to support the smooth running of the Transport and Admin operation.

Working with the rest of the team to ensure the required processes are efficiently and accurately completed.


Responsibilities

  • Planning and controlling outbound logistics to customers considering operational resource/restrictions
  • Order processing and confirmation.
  • Liaise with Customers, Customs and Hauliers ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame.
  • Completing Export customs clearance and Annex VII to ensure loads can be shipped
  • Manage the export process from start to finish, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key customers
  • Resolving servicerelated queries and invoice/charge queries on behalf of the customer with the support of the finance and sales team.
  • Carry out various administrative tasks, including preparing and handling all relevant documentation
  • Updating customer details on our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Establish and develop good working relationships with all stakeholders, including Customers, Drivers, Transport Manager, the Sales team, and thirdparty contractors

Skills Required:


  • Experience in Transport /Logistics scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good geographical knowledge of the local area
  • Good PC skills Essential knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook & Teams (specifically strong knowledge of Excel).
Monday to Thursday & Friday

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
