Due to two large contracts wins we are now expanding our team and are looking for Vehicle Polishers to join the teamWe want you to help us continue delivering our best service.

About the role?_
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Workshop Shift Manager and SMART Line Team Leader, the main task is to carry out any necessary polish and vehicle finishing techniques to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition prior to dispatch.
Key responsibilities of the Role:_
- To prepare and carry out any necessary polish techniques
- To ensure that all vehicles are completed using appropriate SMART techniques.
- To ensure materials are used within the manufacturer's instruction and mínimal usage for effective repair.
- To remove and replace / fit protector mouldings, transfers and decals if required.
- To carry out buffering and burnishing.
- Inspect finished vehicle to ensure no damage.
- To maintain the upkeep of all Workshop tools and equipment.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
- 2x shift rotation pattern:_ _6am2pm / 2pm10pm._
About you?_
- You must hold a Valid Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences for an insurance purpose
- You must be competent in SMART repair and finishing methods, with at least two years' experience.
- You must be fully conversant with Health & Safety, relating to the SMART Vehicle Polisher role and equipment used.
- You must have the ability to work as part of a team, able to use own initiative, be selfmotivated and to be able to work unsupervised.
