We are looking for inspiring individuals with a sense of fun, a can-do attitude and a passion to make a difference to the lives of young people.

This role is focussed on supporting young people aged 16-18 to become successfully independent and ready for life after care.

Based in the young people's homes/community you will act as their role model and mentor through their journey with Carbrey.

Our young people have often had a difficult start in life and they need you to support them to develop essential life skills, help them to make positive choices, promote their health, welfare and personal safety; encourage them in their education, training or employment; build their self-esteem and confidence; support them to manage their finances and learn budgeting skills so that they have every opportunity for success when the time comes for moving on.

You will work with a small team to ensure that the homes we provide are to a high standard and support our young people to live peacefully within their community.

Ideally you will have experience of working with vulnerable young people but this is not essential as full training will be provided including training in our model of practice.

We need you to be:
Able to build trusting relationships with young people to secure their engagement

Flexible, creative, self-motivated with a can-do attitude

A team player

Confident in your written and verbal communication and use of IT.

Committed to achieving the QCF/NVQ Level 3 award in Health and Social Care.

If this sounds like you, we would be happy to talk to you more about the role and how we can support your career with Carbrey.
