Technical & Process Skills / Role JD:

  • 350 Cisco Routers / Voice Gateways utilizing SNMP trap configurations
  • 75 Cisco UC Core Voice servers
  • 50 Verint Voice Recording Servers
  • 50 Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise
  • 160 UC Video, Internal BLKTV and misc. UC Application Servers
Key Skills

  • UC engineer skills: heavy knowledge about monitoring (alert correlation, impact alerts, etc.)
  • Grafana skills: knowledge of the Grafana monitoring platform with an understanding of the Prometheus backend.
  • Python skills: good grasp of creating and managing python scripting.
The scope also entails configuration alert thresholds, dashboard creation and process documentation. Integration with ServiceNow is also required for appropriate Problem Management tracking.

  • Knowledge of Grafana configuration and support
  • Knowledge of programming languages Python / Go
  • Knowledge of PomQL (Prometheus Query Language)
  • Knowledge of Cisco UC technologies
  • Knowledge of SNMP configurations
  • Ability to deliver tasks on time with consistent results
  • Ability to clearly track and report status of day to day related activities to management

Qualification & Certifications
