Premium Motorhomes - Finance Assistant
The UK's leading brand for luxury motorhomes, Premium Motorhomes have an exciting opportunity to join a successful franchise dealership selling high-end motorhomes nationwide.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will assist with the day to day running of the finance function of the business.
This is a permanent full time role working in a busy office environment.
Based in Bawtry, Premium Motorhomes is a boutique motorhome dealer with an unrivalled range of high-end luxury motorhomes and a company ethos centred around providing an exceptional customer service with an approach tailored to meet the needs of each client.
Summary:
- All round individual supporting Finance Manager in delivering operational objectives
- Proactive approach to work and meeting internal and external deadlines
- Team player, willing to challenge status quo & implementing good working practices and improve efficiencies.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting with the sales ledger including setting up accounts, producing invoices, reconciliation, chasing outstanding debt, VAT checking, and reporting
- Reconciling supplier statements, liaising with all departments in relation to this process
- Matching and inputting purchase ledger invoices
- Preparing and processing weekly BACS payments
- Reconciling the bank accounts and credit cards
- Maintain all Company bank accounts, and reconciling balances of all accounts and loans
- Supporting the Finance Manager with management accounts including journal posting
- Manage and maintain fixed asset register
- Assisting in data and cash analysis.
- Helping to ensure that month end processes are completed on schedule
- Dealing with department / customer queries
- Working as a team member with the common goal of producing timely and accurate reports.
- Working to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organising work, prioritising and working and work to deadlines.
Generic:
- AAT part / qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience using Xero and Navigator is desired but not essential
- Strong knowledge of excel and Microsoft office
Job Types:

£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
