Description
A confident, personable, and diligent
Data Protection Manager is required to join a large international organisation.

This is a flexible working, hybrid role based in Luton is an ideal position for somebody who has experience of workingwithin a senior data protection role and/ or a role dealing with data protection related administrative duties.

As
Data Protection Manager you will be responsible for:

  • All data Protection compliance activities, which will include
  • Handling data breaches
  • Investigating complaints
  • Providing technical support and advice to the wider legal team and businesses on data protection legislation.
  • Research and keeping up to date with latest legislative activities related to Data Protection
  • Supporting the business and GDPR Champions to develop clear and concise processes for data protection compliance.
  • Respond to data protectionrelated queries received externally from suppliers or clients
  • Developing and maintaining a data management system in order to:
  • Track data compliance evidence
  • Record and monitor project milestones and deadline
  • Provide adhoc data protection support and advice across the organisation
  • Provide reporting on data protection matters and compliance
  • The guidance and development of IT tools and process to improve handling of data protection related matters
  • A solid understanding and interest in the Data Protection Act and GDPR legislation
  • Proven experience in providing broad support and advice in data protection matters
  • An interest in Technology (IT) and or Law
  • Strong IT Experience
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • To have great organisational and multitasking skills
  • The Ability to be analytical and focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate and operate confidently at all levels within an organisation


Working Monday to Friday, within 10 minutes of the M1 in Luton, you can expect to receive a salaryup to£40,000 plus benefits.
