Overview:
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager and schedulers, the successful applicant will be responsible for the managing of Packaging Stores in 2 production departments.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Intake of daily deliveries of packaging, using on-site FLT and PPT
- Stock control and stock rotation of all stock on site
- Effective utilisation and management of staff to attain objectives
- Achievement of quality thresholds
- Ensure that Health & Safety, Hygiene and regulatory requirements are maintained
- Open, clear and effective communication to staff at all levels
Qualifications:
- The ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- The ability to work under pressure and to delegate effectively
- Be prepared to gain an indepth knowledge of production issues
- Be confident and competent in dealing with staff, other Team Leaders and Departmental Managers
- Numerical ability
- Literacy
- Sound knowledge and experience of operating computer software
- Established time management and administration skills
