Description
We're looking for a Senior Document Controller to join our Highways A417 team based in Gloucester who will work as a collaborative member of the Kier team, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and best practice to the wider Kier team.
As a part of this role, the Document Controller will work effectively with suppliers, the client, and other internal/external parties to ensure that information is distributed and managed correctly.

The A417 programme includes a range of early works designed to reduce disruption during the main build stage of the project.
It includes major highways works, including the survey, design and construction works on the A417; it will also involve associated utility diversions, as well as a range of environmental and other surveys.
Location:
Gloucester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Contract:
Permanent, Fulltime.
Salary:
up to £31k
Responsibilities
As a Senior Document Controller you'll manage and maintain the Document Management System (DMS) on the ProjectWise Platform and implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
Your day to day will include:
- follow established standards on document naming, numbering, revising, and formatting (BS ENO ISO and track all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including logging in registers and issuing document transmittals
- management, training and support on the Project's DMS ProjectWise to the Project team and Sub-Contractors
Who are we looking for?
This role of Senor Document Controller is great for you if have:
- expertise and understanding of working with Document Management Systems (DMS) / Common Data Environments (CDE) and a good experience of document control
- understanding Data Protection is also a prerequisite for this role
