We have multiple internship opportunities in Thales UK Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME) over summer 2024. This opportunity sit within Engineering, specifically the Embedded Software Engineering discipline.


The Embedded Software engineer designs and writes software for resource constrained microcontrollers and System On Chips, which interact with numerous hardware peripherals, as well as interacting with Firmware IP.


As an Embedded Software engineering intern, you will work closely with the Software team as well as the Hardware team in designing and implementing software components to run on processor boards which will ultimately be fitted within some of our products.

Location
The internships are within the OME business of Thales and will be based in Glasgow.

  • Practical Skills in use oscilloscopes
  • Knowledge on how to read schematics and datasheets

Salary and Benefits
Compensation for this placement is pro rata £22500 per annum. You will also receive prorated benefits in line with Thales employees.
