Project Controller - Dundee, United Kingdom - Project Partners
Description
We're looking for a confident and organised Project Controller to work alongside the Build Manager and Project Manager, playing a crucial, hands-on role in delivering Fibre To The Home rollouts.
You'll have a complete overview of each project, including activity, risks and costs, flagging any potential issues and driving improvements to processesYou will also;
- Ensure that there is complete visibility of activity, costs and risks across all areas of the project
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Coordinate the project activities by working with all stakeholders to enable flawless project execution
- Monitor and track against the detailed project plan identifying risk and supporting the Project Manager and Build Manager in identifying mitigation activities
- Report project progress, status, cost and risk using appropriate tools and techniques
What will you bring to the role?
You will have a proven track record in coordinating large scale complex projects in a B2B environment, excellent organisational skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
- Project Management skills across all aspects, from inception to delivery and handover
- A proven ability to develop and manage project budgets and finances
- Indepth knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince 2 or PMI and MS Project
- Leadership and people management skills
- End-to-end Project Management delivery
- Planning and controlling complex, multiworkstream projects
- Devising and delivering mitigations to address risks
- Using various Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and MS Project
This is a contract role, inside IR35, paying a day rate of c. £150 per day. It's initially for 3-6 months with the possibility of going permanent.
The role will be hybrid remote, so mainly home working with the requirement to go to the Dundee office probably once a week.
