You and your role.
The Head of PMO will be responsible for enablement and delivery of project and programme execution.

The Head of PMO ensure that projects are delivered effectively and efficiently in line with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) while the company transitionsto Agile ways of working.


This will involve working with a range of demand including the SLT, OKRs, customer feedback and change requested from the wider team.

A successful Head of PMO and provides the support, resources, and guidance they need to achieve their objectives.

A successfulPMO strikes a harmonious balance between being a gatekeeper (ensuring that demand is objectively assessed before it moves to execution) and being a driving force for the business to meet its ambitious goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the PMO is aligned with the company's objectives and strategies
  • Implement processes and guidelines for project management, risk management, and performance measurement using OKRs, to ensure that all projects are executed consistently and effectively.
  • Ensure that the business has the resources, tools, and support they need to achieve their OKRs, including training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Manage and monitor the progress of Project Managers and provide feedback to help them stay on track.
  • Establish clear lines of communication and collaboration between the PMO and the wider business, to ensure that all parties are aware of progress, challenges, and changes.
  • Facilitate crossfunctional collaboration, and ensure that resources are being used effectively and efficiently to achieve the company's OKRs.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Agile business model using OKRs, and recommend changes to improve performance.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Proven experience leading and managing complex projects. You may be from a start up, have worked in a PMO function before or have similar transferrable experience.
  • Experience with Agile and OKR methodology
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a nontechnical audience.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve obstacles and implement solutions.
