Description
We are a small, friendly company providing a high standard of fault finding, maintenance, repair and testing works to a high-profile portfolio of commercial sites.
You will be expected to cover London and surrounding counties.The day-to-day main duties will include:
- Carrying out electrical maintenance, installation, repairs and testing works at commercial and domestic premises
- Travelling to and attending callouts, projects and planned works at sites across London and the South East
- Electrical tasks include:
- Surveying & quoting for remedial works
- Repairs & maintenance
- Installation works
- EICRs
- Emergency lighting tests
- Fault finding
- Inspection & testing
- Conducting EICRs in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Identifying and rectifying any faults or deficiencies found during testing
- Preparing reports on test results including any remedials required
- Preparing remedials quotes
- Carrying out quoted remedial works
- Maintaining accurate records of testing activities

- £42,000 - £48,000 basic salary depending on experience (optional overtime, night work and weekend work also available)

Essential requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' commercial EICR experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- JIB Gold card
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
- 2391 or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise own workload effectively
- Good knowledge of BS7671:2022 & GN
- Full driving license
- Able to travel across London and surrounding counties
- Solution focused with a strong work ethic and good timekeeping
- Polite, friendly and smart appearance
Preferred:
- Easycert experience
- DBS check
- QS experience
- PASMA
- IPAF
- Asbestos Awareness
