The job itself:

We are currently recruiting for the role of ICT Officer - Level 1, to join our busy ICT Infrastructure & Customer Support Desktop Services Team.

This exciting role is working from our County Hall office in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

The team provides customer and infrastructure support to a large corporate ICT environment, and we are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people who will enjoy working as part of a team but are also capable of working on their own

This role is required to provide first and second line technical support within our ICT Desktop Support Team, which is responsible for providing end user support and installations of both hardware and software, alongside other services such as manning the IT Service Desk and IT Tech Point providing a face-to-face service to East Riding Staff.

You will need a good knowledge of 1st / 2nd line technical support, an understanding of ICT Service Desk systems, Windows operating systems, Infrastructure technologies, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Citrix, PowerShell, and Mobile Device Management.
