Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute shelf life, stability and other product tests using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Assist with test objectives for product development, research, and sensory experiments of current and future prototypes
  • Explore the molecular dynamics of milk proteins and vegetable fats during cheesemaking to develop animalfree cheeses
  • Support functional evaluations and recipe development, by cooking and tasting prototypes, and creating and maintaining technical documents about them
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities and scientific techniques as needed
  • Provide general laboratory support, source and purchase ingredient supplies

Desirable Experience

  • BS, MS (preferred) in Food or Dairy Science
  • Knowledge of ingredients functionality (vegetable lipids is a plus).
  • Experience within an industrial environment
