We're recruiting for a Service Manager who will plan and organise the delivery of care and support to individuals with learning disabilities living in Supported Living services across Edgware and Borehamwood.

You'll be part of a dedicated team of care professionalsall striving for excellence in the services they deliver and ensuring that people with learning disabilities are able to live independent, fulfilling lives.

The Service Manager Role


They support people across a mixture of single flats and shared houses in the community, delivering bespoke personalised care and support.

As a Service Manager you'll be responsible for;

  • The daytoday management of a number of supported living properties and the care of the clients within.
  • Managing 12 team leaders and a team of Care and Support workers, you'll be accountable for the people management, supervisions and development of the staff teams.
  • Planning and organising the delivery of care and support by your team, ensuring that there are up to date care a plans and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring excellent record keeping for your services, which is compliant with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly quality assurance site visits and ensure audits are completed (fire / H&S / infection control / medication / finance / property).

What we're looking for.

  • Experience in a leadership role within social care there is excellent support from the team so this post would be great for r a Team Leader looking to progress. Or somebody currently working as a Service Manager / Supported Living Manager / Deputy Manager
  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and a range of support needs
  • Good knowledge of CQC KLOE's and regulatory requirements
  • QCF3 / NVQ3 as a minimum, ideally NVQ4/QCF 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
