    Job Summary

    We are seeking experienced Civil Design Engineers to join our client's dynamic teams in Leeds and Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will lead and contribute to the design of water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, and drainage systems.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • To develop concept, outline, and detailed designs in accordance with client specifications and industry regulations.
    • To carry out hydraulic analysis, earthworks design, and structural assessments related to water projects.
    • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including MEICA, process, and geotechnical engineers.
    • To ensure designs meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
    • To assist in mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
    • To engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to align project requirements.

    Key Requirements:

    • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE) is desirable.
    • Experience in civil design for water infrastructure projects.
    • Experience in pipelines, drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete structures.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and/or InfoWorks ICM.
    • Familiarity with UK water industry standards (Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, and Eurocodes).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
