Description

As part of a heating maintenance team the post holder will be expected to support a team of repairs and/or maintenance operatives who provide services in commercial plant rooms and dwellings, including heating installations and appliances in client properties.

• Assisting team members on work progress, general maintenance of breakdowns of plant and associated equipment, including appliances and heating systems of client premises.
• Ensure the correct resources and materials are supplied for each job.
• Deliver all PPM and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring all records are updated within the NAV system and engineers
• Monitor engineer's performances & their time management. manage top up hours and advise the FOM on resource planning.
• Monitor operatives stock, resources and materials supplied, ensuring stock levels are in line with company requirement.
• Have a logical & methodical approach to problem solving and fault diagnosis, staying focused & providing a satisfactory outcome.
• Have a sound knowledge of Customer Care & possess the ability to deal with emotional demanding customer related situations.
• Ability to work to deadlines & timescales and liaise with managers and clients regarding changes to schedules or appointments.
• Effectively communicate with the team/clients to explain the correct operation of gas appliances & the importance of regularly servicing gas appliances.
