Description

Our client in the Docks area of Belfast, require a General Yard Operative on an ongoing temporary contract.

Your main duties will be tying bags of fertilisers on a conveyor belt, lifting bags of fertiliser and taking them up to the top of the stack to store them in the correct location (so potentially working at heights of approximately 12 feet).

This job can be indoors or outdoors.

Essential requirements;

Physically able to lift 2030kg

Ability to work at heights (approximately 12 feet with harnesses):

Own transport as the hours can vary due to the nature of the business.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm, however, overtime will be required and paid accordingly.

You must be flexible between the hours of 6am - 8pm during busy periods.

Hourly rate:

£ overtime rate which includes time and a half and double time.

Must be over the age of 18 due to working at height and the weight of the bags
