Advertising Sales Representative - Southampton, United Kingdom - Focus Magazines Ltd

We are a small team running local community magazines in Dorset and Wiltshire.

We are launching more editions in the new year and need someone to work alongside our current salesperson with bringing in new business.

We are looking for someone to work a maximum of 15 hours a week.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Building on our existing database to add more details and new companies
• Phoning businesses to introduce the company and mailing further information
• Following up on initial conversations to convert them into bookings
• Upselling new and existing customers into other editions and to larger adverts

What do we want from you?
Ideally, experience in selling advertising whether in print, radio or online. We would consider someone with sales experience in another sector. But you need to be a salesperson, not just an administrator who can make phone calls.

Your commitment to the role is important. If you just want to get through your hours this won't be right for you. The more successful the business is, the more we'll reward you.

Finally a knowledge of the Dorset and Wiltshire areas will really help you in knowing where to target.

£10.75-£13.75 per hour
