Role Summary
You will work closely with the Finance Manager ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all Foundation financial dealings.

You will be responsible for financial data entry and supporting all projects and Foundation finances to ensure all administration is completed in line with our Quality Management System objectives and processes.

You will be liaising with Project Officers and Managers across projects, processing and coding all authorized income and expenditure requests into the accounts, ready for payment.


Key Job requirement:


  • Book-Keeping experience
  • Understanding of accounts software, (preferably Xero)
  • Good computer skills, with some knowledge of Microsoft Offices products, basic Excel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic
  • Organized, with good levels of attention to detail and able to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring that all invoices are approved by appropriate senior staff before processing
  • Coding all income and expenditure correctly


  • Bank reconciliations

  • NEF's own accounts and client fund bank accounts
  • Checking travel and subsistence claims of staff and processing for payment
  • Running simple reports for project managers and SMT

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 25 per week
