Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad.

The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts.

Role & Responsibilities

Help shape the direction of heritage consultancy in the North region managing change to significant places and developing the heritage team
Providing bespoke and highquality advice, including conservation management plans, significance and capacity analysis, and heritage impact assessments
Reporting to the senior heritage consultant
Working alongside the architectural team in a full range of architectural typologies and styles.

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in building conservation, buildings archaeology, and heritage planning at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
Excellent skills and demonstrable experience in archival and deskbased research, onsite built fabric analysis, and producing wellwritten reports
Proven track record in providing advice as heritage lead
Experience in planning and managing your own workload and the workload of others and running multiple simultaneous projects
Experience in preparing fee proposals and bids
Knowledge of the market in part of the northern region
Memberships of professional institutions, such as the IHBC. or CIFA.
