WHAT TO EXPECT


The Brand Design Team are creative and passionate Industrial product design experts, working collaboratively with Interior and Exterior Design Teams on multiple commodities.


Brand designers embrace an interactive, flexible working process to conceptualise, develop and productionise Brand-orientated Designs, working closely with the overall Brand Design team.


This team will embrace and use innovative technologies to create beautiful, well-built products that are emblems of Modern Luxury, developing and implementing brand strategies to create components that embody each brand's unique personality.

This role is responsible for the design creation and delivery of Products within
all 4 BRAND PILLARS.


This is a highly skilled and creative role, being involved in the creation and finalisation of new design themes, through to a feasible "Go for One" proposal for all Brand programmes.

You must meet strategic objectives set by and agreed with the Design Manager and Brand Design Director.


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • To contribute and assist in the development of strategic advanced concepts as well as delivery programmes and accessories
  • Act as a deputy to the Design managers
  • Lead on their specific Industrial Design project and act as a the single point of contact for other functions or stakeholders
  • Supervise a team of designers and modellers when required
  • Developing and Coaching the Design team
  • Regularly presenting to Design Directors
  • Create new ideas and challenge conventional thinking in problem solving
  • Liaise crossfunctionally to ensure twoway communication on project feasibility
  • Develop the virtual and physical design properties of their specific project, to the highest level of maturity and refinement
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:
Strong IT skills, particularly with Design related systems, e.g. ALIAS / Blender / VRED / Photoshop /

Power-Point

  • Excellent illustration and visual evaluation skills to visually and verbally communicate ideas and solutions.
  • Proven experience of aesthetic judgement of surface, surface juxtaposition and appearance
  • Broad knowledge of Engineering and Production techniques and processes, and strong market / business acumen
  • Previous experience of the generation of designs for production and concept products, including experience of visualising and communicating design solutions in 2D and 3D
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven experience of leading projects
  • Strong level of organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of the competitor environment including Modern Luxury Trends
