Empowering Learning are supporting a Sports Company in Bradford who are seeking a Sports Coach to work four days per week.

This is contract is due to start in April.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to athletes in various sports disciplines.

Your role will involve educating athletes on proper techniques, developing their skills, and fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver training sessions for athletes in specific sports disciplines
Teach athletes fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of the game
Provide individualized coaching to help athletes improve their performance
Develop training programs tailored to the needs of each athlete or team
Monitor and evaluate athlete progress and provide feedback for improvement
Organize and supervise practice sessions, scrimmages, and competitions
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among athletes
Ensure the safety of athletes during training sessions and competitions
Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and parents to support athlete development

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sports Coach or relevant role
Strong knowledge of one or more sports disciplines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential
Patience and understanding when working with athletes of different skill levels
Organizational skills to plan training sessions and manage schedules effectively
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or related field (preferred)
