Are you a motivated individual with a passion for construction and a desire to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Agent (Trainee Foreperson) to join our dynamic team and make your mark in the construction industry


Since 1944 AD Construction Group has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, predominantly to local authority housing associations.

Purpose of the Role


As a Site Agent, your main purpose will be to work alongside a Site Manager, assisting in organising site functions in accordance with the agreed program of works, client's specifications, and the site health and safety plan, whilst gaining further knowledge and experience in the construction industry progressing you into the Foreperson position.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Site Manager in planning, organising, and supervising daily construction activities.
  • Coordinate with Site Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide onsite technical support, utilising your construction knowledge to solve challenges that arise.
  • Assist in preparing work schedules, resource allocation, and material procurement plans.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and records of site activities.
  • Engage with customers and address their queries, maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in construction or a related field, showcasing a solid understanding of construction processes.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving ability and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality work standards.
  • Desire to learn and take on increasing responsibilities, aiming for a career path towards becoming a Foreperson.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project documentation and communication.
  • Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related disciplines is a plus.
  • Full driving license: You will be required to travel to different sites and liaise with residents, subcontractors, and clients. A valid driving license is essential for this position.

Package

  • Salary £28,000 to £33,000


  • Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
  • 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure
  • Birthday day off

Additional Information

  • DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the companies expense
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Six Month Probationary Period

Salary:
£28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
