Tate are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner on behalf of your Sidmouth based client.

This position will focus on providing support to department managers, along with comprehensive analysis, plus responsibility for monthly andyear end accruals and prepayments.

Working closely with operational managers to improve the understanding and impact of financial reporting and aligning with business strategies therefore building partnerships and strong relationships with internal stakeholderswill be essential.

The main responsibilities of this role will include

  • Accruals/prepayment reporting, including the collation and analysis of high volumes of complex data, interpreting trends and variances from budgets and forecasts with a view to providing timely and meaningful insight into monthly management accounts
  • Management of the General Ledger and Project Ledger, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and consistent
  • Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts
  • Providing a finance partnering function giving advice and support as required to cost centre managers including training and coaching on all aspects of quarterly reforecasting and monthly reporting
  • Provision and presentation of highquality management accounting data, reports and advice, ensuring cost centre managers are aware of monthend expenditure variances against budget, facilitating future reforecasting and the provision of meaningful variancecommentary
  • The smooth running of budgeting and forecasting processes giving advice and support to cost centre managers, ensuring alignment with Financial Accounting systems and processes
  • AAT L3 or part qual CIMA
  • Proven working background in the analysis, interpretation and reporting of high volumes of complex financial data
  • A strong communicator who is able to easily adapt to varying audiences
  • Advanced user of MS Excel
This is a permanent position paying £31,200.
