A great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading expert in vehicle conversions.

The Electrical Engineer will be supporting vehicle projects including enhanced capabilities, discreet protection for armoured vehicles, systems integration andreduced emissions.


What you'll be doing:

  • Design and engineer integration solutions and automotive upgrades on a range of vehicles including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses
  • Liaise with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of electrical systems and components to achieve project objectives
  • Production of electrical drawings using the electrical design software. Produce electrical plans, procedures, specifications, reports and other deliverables as required
  • Ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose, meeting customer requirements, whilst working within the allocated budget for each project

Skills helpful for the role:

  • Ideally qualified to degree level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or through an Apprenticeship and / or have sufficient experience in this field
  • Creation and manipulation of automotive electrical harnesses
  • Automotive engineering to vehicle manufacturer quality standards
  • Experienced in design of electrical schematics and harness using EDS, preferably in Arcadia
  • Hold, have held it previously or being willing and capable of holding UK Defence Business Services (DBS) National Security Vetting (NSV) 'SC' or 'DV' Clearance
