Are you wanting to make a difference to your local communities, leading a team in keeping our recreational areas safe and clean as part of our new weekend team?


As a Team Leader managing operatives who are based out in the community, you will be responsible for managing the schedule of works alongside the Streetscene Manager ensuring all priority work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

You may already have experience in a similar role and can expect to have line management responsibilities to the team, managing absences, recruitment and induction plans and identifying training needs for the team.


This is a part time position and hours to be worked are between 06:00 and 18:00 on Saturdays/Sundays and Mondays from 08.00 to On Monday you will work at our Wade Road Depot and our other weekend bases are at Crossborough Hill and Eastrop Lane.

The responsibilities of the Team Leader are varied meaning that you will on occasion, be expected to support the team and provide cover for our Street Cleansing Operatives therefore you will need a full UK driving licence to engage fully in the tasks required.


This is new team and will provide opportunity for you to really make a difference as part of the operational team, keeping Basingstoke and Deane a happy place to live and work.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,061.00-£23,806.00 per year

Expected hours: 25.5 per week
