As a Trainee Stockbroker, you will start by supporting our dealers, stockbrokers, and the manager within the office, whilst you shadow the team and learn more about stockbroking and investment processes.


Throughout your time with us, we will provide you with opportunities to learn new skills and achieve industry recognised qualifications.


Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Answering and responding to client and prospective client enquires.
  • Providing information for clients on listed companies.
  • Working towards being able to carry out day to day dealing in all UK Equity, Overseas, Unit Trust Deals.
  • Participating in our training & competency scheme to meet the firm's requirements under the Certification Regime


We are looking for someone who is passionate about our industry and keen to build a career as a Stockbroker within our firm.

What we're looking for

  • Hold or be willing to work towards either CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities or CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma
  • Knowledge of and interest in stockbroking & the financial market.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Ability to adapt and use own initiative, as well as proven accuracy skills and good attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills both in a customer facing and telephony capacity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
