The Futures, Clearing and FXPB (FCX) Futures Execution Technology Lead role is a senior management position responsible for the Futures Execution Technology functional roadmap and delivery to support FCX clients and markets businesses across various global exchanges.

This involves working closely with trading system vendors, internal development teams, Product Development and House businesses, as well as technology counterparts to assess their requirements, define the platform strategy and deliver services, tools and the platform which will help drive the business growth.

As part of the Futures Execution functional strategy definition, this role will require assessing current capabilities and data flows to come up with a target state that conforms to best practices across data standards (quality, lineage) as well as a high standard of platform stability.

Responsibilities:

Develop functional vision and strategy to support business growth and stability working closely with the Vendor, Development, Product, Operations, and House business teams as well as firmwide crossengineering teams
Manage/develop teams of professionals in multiple locations to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (eg performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process. Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
Deliver on an aggressive agenda and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
Drive the design and development of system architecture, work with endusers of the systems, and enhance the quality of deliverables. Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures as well as maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation for filings on a current basis and in comprehensive manner
Monitor and manage approach/end results, budgeting, planning, policy formation, and contribute to future strategy of the area(s)
Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements
Research and resolve issues, provide recommendations, and escalate to senior management as needed
Lead and deliver local staff forums, present global, regional, and location news and updates to engage team in the progress of organization
Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience in designing, building, delivering Futures Trading platforms
Excellent knowledge of Futures Trading business functionality (including market nuances, FIX flows and trading desk functionality)
Successful track record of working in complex environments (hybrid, multiregion teams; mixed vendor and internal delivery, various senior stakeholders across multiple business lines; heterogenous system architectures)
Excellent knowledge of system design, functional specification and process engineering best practices
Track record of managing teams in multiple locations

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
