Description
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our team, working in our office full time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, covering 40 hours per week.
Your job roll will include:
- Day to day bookkeeping including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts for our company.
- Booking in stock, matching purchase orders and invoices, processing purchase invoices, reconciling monthly supplier statements, making purchase payments and dealing with supplier queries.
- Posting journals.
- Cashflow forecasts.
- Allocating customer payments daily, sending customer statements and issuing customer credit notes.
- Invoice discounting via the bank, inputting day books and reconciling daily and close down monthly.
- Helping with inputting quarterly stock counts.
- Maintaining HR records
- Look how to save costs on company overheads.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required.
