Bookkeeper

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll duties
  • Prepare invoices for billing clients
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage ACH deposits and wire transfers
  • Maintain vendor relationships and work with them on their tax filings
  • Assist with sales tax filings
  • Assist with sales tax filings
for Alloa Tax Department

  • Assist with tax returns preparation for clients
  • Assist with monthly financial statements preparation and review with CEO & COO
  • Other duties as assigned by CEO & COO (i.e., processing of invoices, reconciling of bank accounts, managing of cash flow)

Education and Experience:

Required: Associate degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting position.

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. Experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus but not required. Experience in bookkeeping is preferred but not required.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£15.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
