Locum Information Rights Officer - Staffordshire - 3 months - Remote Working - Full Time - Up to £25 per hour Umbrella
Are you a skilled Information Rights Officer with experience handling a data protection workload, seeking a new role within a reputable Local Authority?


Venn Group are working with an established Public Organisation that require a locum to join their Information Governance team to handle a varied data protection caseload.


The caseload may include:

  • Ensuring Information requests, including data protection and freedom of information matters, are managed and resolved in compliance with legislation and standards
  • Developing and implementing strategies, policy frameworks and plans systems
  • Undertaking effective research for Information Rights legislation to support any national policy changes
  • Providing clear strategic advice, guidance and support to Assistant Directors and elected members on Information Rights changes
  • Ensuring information legislation and documents are accurate and maintained


The Organisation has advised that this role will be for a minimum of three months but is likely to be extended following this.

The role is offering an hourly rate of up to £25 per hour Umbrella, dependent upon the individuals relevant experience.

This isa full time, remote working assignment, however those offering part time availability may also be considered.
