Description
To be the point of contact for patients accessing Vascular throughout their pathway of care.

The post holder will work under the direction of their operations management team and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.

The post holder will provide a range of administrative support services to the speciality clinical team.


This role will also support in ensuring patients have appointments or diagnostics booked within strict timescales and the tracking of these patients to ensure they don't breach.

It is expected that the role will cross cover for other PPC's / clinical support workers in times of leave or absence.


  • Analyse information and update relevant systems
  • Communicate with patients and staff in other departments
  • Be the central contact for allocated clinicians, manage their leave, clinics and enquiries from patients
  • Typing of admin / complaint letters as required for allocated clinicians
  • Cross cover other colleagues in the team as and when required
