The role:

The Digital Business Partner is responsible for managing the relationship and scaling online

trading with our pure player partners. This person will also actively support the digital

transformation of our independent distribution by offering scalable online solutions to grow

their business. Hybrid-role working also in the London Head Office.


What you'll do:


1. Management of our Existing Pure Player partners (Sephora, Escentual)

  • Main contact for abovementioned retailers to identify opportunities, negotiate support both FOC & paid and nurture relationships.
  • Budget responsibility for the abovementioned accounts to be reported and allocated alongside the Trade Marketing Manager who is to be the budget keeper.
  • Brief, prepare and ensure the timely delivery of launches, including assets pack, banners, and promotions, ensure activities go live as planned and screenshot activity.
  • Manage GWP promotions, from strategic forecasting, assembly, negotiating free/paid visibility, allocation to delivery and reporting.
  • Manage sampling campaigns for new launches/focuses, including nominating for activity, allocating stock and organising delivery.
  • Develop close working relationships with retailers online editorial and social media teams to leverage and maximise ePR opportunities.
  • Ensure product launches are optimised to the seasonal business plan and maximising sales.

2. Analyse and report on performance

  • Monitor and share pure player selling patterns with our key stake holders (digital department/trade marketing team) Etailer selling patterns for best in practice
  • Monitor and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual pure player trade performance metrics to identify opportunities and propose actions to maximise sales.
  • Provide pure player activity for the monthly General Managers Report
  • Utilize similar web to compare online business partners performance and inform new initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activity on pure players and share in monthly competitor report
  • Act as our brand advocate and guardian in proactively managing the grey market, fraudulent or nonauthorized online selling.

3. Support the digital acceleration of the Independent Division (Gold Salon, Commissioned, etc)

  • Manage Digital Assets for Independent Division and share on workplace groups.
  • Ownership and rollout of the Independent Division non transactional site.
  • Quarterly update of site content using Zmag editor.
  • Support Launch of Phorest Microsite for Gold Salons and maintain catalogue accuracy.

4. New partners opening

  • Assess potential new partners by conducting site audits.
  • Suggest best plan of action (full ecommerce site / phorest / non transactional / nothing).

You have:


  • Excellent verbal, written communication and Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an acuteness and eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously on projects and under tight deadlines.
  • Experience of briefing and working with external suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of the Etail landscape and its best practices.
  • Strong copywriting skills and creative mindset. Enthusiastic, assertive and motivated.
  • Analytical mindset to produce and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
