As a Senior Engineer with ECIT, youll gain exposure with a broad range of complex technical and professional activities, in a variety of contexts and will therefore require the ability to Investigate, define and resolve, complex issues.
- 2:1 Honours Degree, or equivalent, in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Evidenced breadth and depth of Industrial product development experience involving software design and development
- Software development skills in languages such as C, C / Java / Python / R / Rust
- A sustained stream of high quality outputs such as white papers, major component design specifications and key project deliverables which have successfully passed formal quality review procedures
- Experience in the use of code configuration management toolsets
- Demonstrable experience of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methodologies and tools
- Good understanding of cyber security
- Delivery of high quality outputs such as demonstrators, prototypes, technical reports, major component design specifications and project deliverables which have successfully passed formal quality review procedures
- A successful track record of supervising junior staff and/or students. Supervision in this sense relates to technical leadership/direction/assistance provided to project team members
