My client in
Wolverhamptonis looking for an experienced
Band 7 Microbiology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.


Job Role:

  • 37.5 hrs p/w
  • To provide and coordinate specialist clinical technical services to patients that may include research and audit samples.
  • To undertake the daytoday management of a section within the laboratory under the direction of the line manager.
  • Contributes to providing a professional clinical laboratory service, working effectively as a team member as part of the overall department.
  • To provide the necessary training and supervision to staff within the section.

Qualifications and Experience required:
-
HCPC registered as a BMS:

  • Evidence of taking on additional responsibilities as a Band 6 or Band
  • Evidence of MSc or Higher Specialist diploma
  • Evidence of >5years experience working within a Clinical Microbiology laboratory.
  • Evidence of successful completion of Specialist Portfolio in Microbiology or Virology
