Gatwick IRC are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to provide healthcare to patients, promoting health and well-being within the prisoner population.
This role will be responsible for assessment and caseload management of those referred into Mental health services within Gatwick IRC, working as part of a primary care integrated model.
You will be supporting your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.About You:
You will either be a Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Social Worker/ Occupational Therapist or hold membership with BABCP/BACP/ UKCP.
