Description
About the Role:
As Warehouse Operative at Table Place Chairs, you will support warehouse operations & activities, with responsibilities including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out assembly tasks for outbound or stock items, to a high standard.
- Assist in the process of preparing shipments through appropriate packaging processes and standards
- Complete accurate picking of outbound orders through a WMS system, entering data accurately and maintaining information in a timely manner
- Assist in the prompt offloading and receiving of deliveries
- Complete stock movements when required, to include collection or delivery of materials for third party suppliers to process for Sales orders
- Occasional remedial work
- Attend any supplier or company training sessions as required
- Ensure a healthy & safe working environment for all, carrying out tasks in a safe, tidy & timely manner
- Escalate areas of concern to supervisor as required
- Occasionally attend an offsite installation or the company Head Office in London.

Qualifications/Experience:
Essential:
- MHE Certification (Bendi & counterbalance training can be provided)
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, able to follow simple process & instruction
- Driven to complete works to a high standard
- MHE Certification (Bendi & counterbalance training can be provided)
- Experience working within a challenging and busy working environment
- Good current knowledge of best practice
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Good attention to detail
Desirable:
- A 'cando' attitude
- Experience of working in a small team, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Scissorlift licence (training can be provided)
- Passionate about developing and learning new ways of working
- Ability to use own initiative, together with bringing fresh innovative ideas
