We're looking for a HGV and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Chatteris and support the transportation and supply chain of our potent on-the-go drinks which support the health and wellbeing of our customers._
JOB SUMMARY
The Turmeric Co, an innovative startup specialising in nutritious juice drinks, seeks a dedicated HGV Driver to contribute not only to transportation but actively engage in supply chain management.
The role involves collaborating with logistics and planning managers to optimise routes, schedules, and enhance overall efficiency.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Safely operate and maintain Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) following company policies and legal requirements.
- Transport goods securely and timely to various locations.
- Collaborate with logistics and planning managers to optimise routes, schedules, and delivery processes.
- Actively participate in onsite activities to understand and contribute to supply chain dynamics.
- Provide input on costeffective transportation and logistics strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with logistics team, warehouse staff, and stakeholders.
- Accurately complete required documentation, including delivery notes, timesheets, and records.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, report maintenance requirements promptly, and ensure safety standards are met.
OTHER DUTIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist in warehouse activities and logistics coordination as needed.
- Contribute to the development of costeffective transportation solutions.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- Valid HGV license (Cat C/ Class 2 or above).
- Proven HGV driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and route planning.
- Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and problemsolving skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to work 48hrs per week.
