Job Overview
Fintelligent have partnered with a c. £100m t/o VC backed SaaS business currently looking for a Commercial Accountant to join the high performing finance team. Reporting into the Head of FP&A, the Commercial Accountant will support the upcoming growth trajectorythrough in-depth analysis and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and pragmatic Accountant to gain commercial exposure, with plenty of opportunity for career progression alongside.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in theirManchester City Centre office.


The Role

  • Preparation of monthly reports including revenue, costs, performance, and trend analysis
  • Assist in annual forecasting process utilising robust and detailed financial models
  • Liaising with multidiscipline's across the business and supporting the reporting needs of each to ensure informed decision making and management
  • Production of monthly management accounts including financial statements, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Oversee month end submissions of accruals, prepayments and depreciation
  • Adherence and promotion of financial controls and compliance
  • Actively support the business' growth trajectory with process automation and system improvements

Person Specification

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
  • High quality Excel skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate with nonfinance
  • Experience of using Sage or Salesforce (desirable)
  • Exposure in an international business (desirable)
