Job Title IT Solutions project manager

Job Summary Overview:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple technology-focused projects from initiation to delivery.

This role requires strong technical knowledge and experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time,within scope, and within budget.

The role will require travel to client sites and as such having a car & driver's license is required.

Out of hours overtime as well as weekend work (paid at time x1.5) will be required on odd occasions so flexibility is a must.

In addition to being exceptionally skilled analytically and technically, you also want to learn and are willing to gain relevant qualifications and accreditations, ultimately, you'll be developing your IT skills and they will be happy to help you achievethis.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop project plans, schedules
Manage project scope, resources, and stakeholders
Facilitate crossfunctional team meetings and presentations
Identify and manage risks and issues, and develop contingency plans
Monitor project progress and deliverables, and report status to stakeholders
Ensure project quality and adherence to standards and best practices
Manage project change requests and scope creep
Ensure successful project handoff and transition to Service Delivery
Educating customers on Qlic IT Services
Reducing roadblocks as best as possible
Improving product or service adoption
Establish and maintain effective relationships with Account managers and the Support Team to provide effective client transition on Project completion.

Skills In this position, it is ideal to have:

3+ years of experience managing IT projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of infrastructure, security and cloud technologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
Project management certification is a plus
Principled and selfassured
Proficient in coaching and mentoring
Able to multitask and manage tight timelines and deliverables.
Able to prioritize and work in an organised fashion.
Able to work under pressure and with a heavy workload.
Extremely detail oriented
Open to change and futureorientated
Creative thinker able to make well thought out decisions
Responsive to clients and colleagues
