Account Manager - Metals/ Engineering

Up to £30k p.a

Warmley

Our client, a leading specialist within the metals industry, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their successful team based in Warmley.

This is a key hire for the organisation and the role holder will be responsible for building an exceptional rapport with clients and managing relationships throughout the sales process.

You will provide expert product knowledge and support business customersto find the right products to meet their needs.

Core Tasks & Responsibilities:

Working in a consultative sales team, with 90% inbound sales and 10% outbound new business
Maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as driving new business
Managing accounts through from initial enquiry to closing a sale
Liaising with production colleagues to ensure products are in stock and delivery deadlines are met
Working to a realistic team target as a collaborative team

Skills & Experience:

At least 2 years' business to business sales or account management experience.
Ideally experience or understanding of the metals, engineering or construction industry.
Excellent customer service skills and a consultative approach to sales.
A selfstarter with a cando attitude.
Driver with own vehicle, due to office location.
