The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall is an award winning venue specialising in weddings, events, and conferences.

The Woodlands has rapidly gained recognition and awards as a destination venue for high quality customer service, food offering, events space and accommodation.

We are actively expanding our team due to the continued growth and development of the estate.

With extensive renovation plans to include a luxury spa, fine dining restaurant, hotel bedrooms and event space, we are looking for hard working, driven individuals to bring a positive mindset and can-do attitude to drive our business forward.

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant who will work with the team on the Hothorpe Hall Estate.

A great opportunity to work within a natural setting, ensuring that the estate is maintained to an excellent standard throughout.

The working pattern for this role requires the individual to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends. The role reports to the Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To carry out day to day maintenance and repairs on the estate as required.
  • To ensure daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks are completed within expected time frame.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all.
  • Undergo maintenance and repairs to the whole estate including main venue and Woodlands accommodation.
  • To ensure that all duties and performance standards comply with current Health & Safety Procedures and Standards of Work.
  • Any additional duties as required by Senior Management.
