  • Special Educational Needs

Do you have experience of supporting young people with moderate learning difficulties either one-to-one or in small groups?

I am currently recruiting for a college in North Birmingham that are looking to appoint new Learning Support Mentors for young people with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs.

You will support the young people in college and out on work placements, the role is varied and you need to work well in a team.

The positions are on a temporary to permanent basis, and they are seeking enthusiastic individuals that are positive, resilient & that can use their initiative.

As a Learning Support Mentor you will be working alongside the teacher and other teaching assistants, supporting the young people with everyday college life.

I am happy to be working with this college as they really care about their students and staff. Class sizes are small and staff and student well-being are at the core of their values.

I am very keen to speak with Learning Support Assistants, SEND Teaching Assistants, Support Workers and people who have worked in alternative provision settings, as you would be ideal for this position.
