Part Time/Hybrid Accounts Assistant position starting mid-February in Milton Keynes.

Job title:
Finance & Operations Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover - 12-month contract)

  • Contract: Part-Time/Hybrid 3 days a week or 24hrs spread over the week 1 day required in the office
  • Salary: £26k£28k (Prorated dependant on experience)
  • Located: Milton Keynes

Tasks:

Accounts/Finance

  • Manage account payables and receivables activities and all accounts reconciliation.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding debts.
  • Work with our accountants to coordinate the quarterly VAT return ensuring all records are reconciled correctly.
  • Update all supplier procurement systems providing required documentation and the management of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Produce quarterly deferral, prepayment, and accrual reports for the accountants.
  • Setup payments for invoices via online banking to be authorised by the CEO and coordinate the administration of expenses.
  • Act as the main point of contact for addressing any enquiries and questions related to finance and operations.
  • Provide support to colleagues in use of financial systems, Xero, Stripe and GoCardless.
