WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The purpose of this new role is to help produce and deliver the marketing strategy promoting our events to delegates and exhibitors.

You will be a self-motivated individual who loves working alongside a great team across the marketing mix to assist in promoting our trade exhibitions, taking place across the portfolio with the marketing manager.


Day-to-day Responsibilities
To assist in executing successful marketing campaigns across a portfolio of products as directed by the Manager. To conduct marketing campaigns in all print and digital channels and explore new media.

To establish and manage relationships with key suppliers and partners, outsourced companies and internal teams to ensure the tasks of each project are executed as directed.

To deliver effective marketing campaigns that can be nominated for awards and ensure the smooth delivery of tasks aligned to the role.


Main Duties:


  • Execute marketing campaigns per event to ensure visitor targets are met
  • To ensure key messages are aligned with the business plan and are delivered across all potential media
  • To liaise with the relevant data manager to ensure compliance with the ICO
  • To support sales via partnerships and sponsorship deals
  • To write and control copywriting and Print Production of marketing materials
  • To take responsibility for bringing marketing tasks and activities required per event on time as set by Manager
  • To ensure all internal procedures for purchase orders are adhered to
  • To devise reports of activity weekly and monthly
  • To ensure social media activity such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn etc., are executed for the maximum exposure for the business as directed by Manager
  • To liaise with sectorrelevant associations and media partners where directed
  • To develop key relationships, especially with key customers and stakeholders, to maximise revenues
  • To ensure high levels of care and customer satisfaction regarding the sector
  • To ensure all targets and deadlines are met and exceeded
  • Continue growing databases
  • Secure new media partners
  • To undertake any other duties as requested

About You:


  • Great writing skills. You should be confident in writing technical copy.
  • Ability to produce creative and wellthoughtout marketing plans
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time
  • Ambition to develop your marketing career
  • Have something to teach us about social media
