Ideally you will have experience of using computers and have a keen interest in Technology, the ability to learn quickly with an exceptional eye for detail, and enthusiasm in delivering a high-quality service.

You must be able to work in a busy environment and to tight deadlines and you will need to demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated, to have initiative and to be comfortable working as part of a team.

  • Be approachable and helpful at all times
  • Seek advice where appropriate and act upon this accordingly
  • Ensure data inputting / raising orders and other tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Respond in a timely and appropriate manner to enquiries
  • Be a friendly, helpful and welcoming representative of the department at all times
  • Deal with colleagues in a manner which promotes a positive image of yourself, the department and the departmental team
  • To take actions to maintain patient privacy, dignity and respect at all times
  • Deal with enquiries in a manner that takes in to account the needs of individuals
  • Work as a full member of the IT Department team
  • Make suggestions to improve quality of team outputs
  • Report any concerns about behaviour that undermine the effectiveness of team working where it is felt that personal actions taken to address the situation have been unsuccessful
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of other team members and develop good working relationships across teams
  • Order management.
